Healy Safety Breakaway Valve
Healy Safety Breakaway Valve
(M32×1.5 Thread, Exclusive for Gas Station Healy Fuel/Oil Vapor Recovery)
Core Differentiation:Adopts an aluminum alloy housing + M32×1.5 dedicated thread, with optional internal structures for Healy-specific or oil vapor recovery, and a preset breakaway force of 350lbs (approx. 1588N) — distinguishing from ordinary breakaway valves with “mismatched threads, single internal structure, and redundant/insufficient breakaway force”. The aluminum alloy housing is lightweight and fuel-corrosion-resistant; the M32×1.5 thread precisely matches Healy fuel and oil vapor recovery pipelines; dual internal structures cover segmented scenarios; and the 350lbs breakaway force ensures reliable triggering in danger and no accidental separation in daily conditions, solving the pain points of “poor scene adaptation and inaccurate protection” of conventional valves.
1. Performance & Parameters
- Material & Structure:
- Housing: Aluminum alloy (lightweight design, resistant to gasoline/diesel corrosion);
- Thread: M32×1.5 (customized for Healy fuel and oil vapor recovery pipelines);
- Internal Structure: Optional Healy-specific structure (for Healy fuel dispensing) or oil vapor recovery structure (for oil vapor recovery systems).
- Breakaway Force: 350lbs (approx. 1588N, precise triggering, balancing safety and reliability).
- Working Pressure: ≤0.6 MPa (matches the operating pressure of dispensers and oil vapor recovery systems).
- Applicable Medium: Gasoline, diesel (Healy structure); fuel vapor (oil vapor recovery structure).
- Operating Temperature: -20℃ ~ +60℃ (adapts to all-climate gas stations).
2. Working Principle, Scenarios & Usage
- Working Principle:
The valve integrates a precise shear separation structure. When the external force (e.g., vehicle dragging the nozzle) reaches the preset breakaway force of 350lbs, the aluminum alloy housing and M32×1.5 thread component separate quickly; meanwhile, the internal Healy-specific or oil vapor recovery sealing spool instantly blocks the fuel/vapor channel, achieving “breakaway = sealing, no fuel/vapor leakage”.
- Application Scenarios:
① Healy Fuel Dispensing Pipelines: Installed between Healy dispensers and nozzles to prevent pipeline breakage caused by vehicle dragging, protecting Healy-specific equipment and avoiding fuel leakage;
② Oil Vapor Recovery System Pipelines: Installed between oil vapor recovery devices and nozzles to prevent vapor leakage caused by dragging, ensuring vapor recovery efficiency and on-site safety.
- Usage:
1. Installation:
- Structure Selection: Choose the breakaway valve with the corresponding internal structure (Healy/oil vapor recovery) based on pipeline function;
- Thread Alignment: Align the M32×1.5 thread end with the gas station pipeline (Healy pipeline/oil vapor recovery pipeline), ensuring no thread damage or debris;
- Tightening Operation: Tighten **evenly and slowly** with a corresponding wrench, and verify the seal through a slight pressure test (test fuel for Healy structure, test vapor for oil vapor recovery structure).
2. Operation:
The passage is smooth during normal refueling/vapor recovery, and it automatically separates and seals when the external force reaches 350lbs, without manual intervention throughout the process.
3. Maintenance:
- Quarterly Inspection: Focus on checking the wear of M32×1.5 threads, corrosion of the aluminum alloy housing, and aging of seals;
- Function Test: Apply external force within the range of 350lbs with professional tools to verify separation reliability and sealing integrity, and replace parts in time if abnormal.
