2. Working Principle, Scenarios & Usage
- Principle:
With a precise shear separation structure, the valve separates rapidly when external force (e.g., vehicle dragging the nozzle) reaches the preset breakaway force. Meanwhile, spring-loaded sealing spools at both ends pop out instantly to block oil/gas channels, achieving “separation = sealing with no leakage”.
- Scenarios:
① Vapor recovery pipelines: Between dispensers and vapor recovery units — seals vapor channels to prevent pollution when broken.
② General fuel pipelines: Main pipelines of gasoline/diesel dispensers — prevents pipeline damage and fuel leakage from dragging.
③ Heineken fueling: Exclusive for dispensers of Heineken products — matches its physical-chemical properties for long-term reliability.
- Usage:
1. Selection & Installation: Choose structure (vapor recovery/general/Heineken) by pipeline function, choose size (3/4" or 1") by pipeline diameter; align threads and tighten moderately (avoid over-tightening aluminum threads or deforming the rubber sleeve).
2. Operation: Automatic breakaway/sealing during accidental dragging; no manual action in normal fueling.
3. Maintenance: Test breakaway/sealing quarterly with professional tools; replace if sealing surfaces wear or the rubber sleeve cracks.
