Vapor Recovery Breakaway Valve
Core Differentiation:Exclusive for gas station vapor recovery systems, made of high-strength aluminum alloy, available in two versions (with flow regulation / pure breakaway function), and features M34×1.5 thread for precise pipeline matching (unlike ordinary valves: single-function, rust-prone materials, or mismatched threads). The aluminum alloy resists corrosion from vapor; the regulated version precisely controls flow while ensuring breakaway safety, and the non-regulated version focuses on instant sealing after breakage — solving the problems of “single function” or “poor compatibility” in conventional valves.
Performance & Parameters
- Thread: M34×1.5 (precisely matches gas station vapor recovery pipeline interfaces).
- Working Pressure: ≤0.6 MPa (suits normal vapor recovery system pressure).
- Preset Breakaway Force: 1200–1500N (customizable, balances “no false triggering” and “reliable breakage under danger”).
- Medium: Fuel vapor (gasoline/diesel vapor).
- Operating Temperature: -20℃ ~ +60℃ (adapts to all-climate gas station environments).
- Versions:
• With flow regulation*: Controls vapor flow while providing breakaway protection.
• Without flow regulation*: Focuses on breakaway & instant sealing.
Working Principle, Application Scenarios & Usage
-Working Principle:
-With flow regulation: Rotate the adjustment ring to change the gap between the internal spool and flow channel for precise flow control; when external force reaches the preset breakaway force, the valve separates, and both ends’ sealing mechanisms activate instantly to block vapor flow.
- Without flow regulation: When external force triggers breakaway, the valve separates, and built-in spring-loaded seals at both ends close immediately to stop vapor leakage.
- Application Scenarios:
- Gas station vapor recovery pipelines: Installed between fuel dispensers and vapor recovery units. The regulated version* is used in sections requiring precise flow control (e.g., fine-tuning recovery rates); the non-regulated version protects general pipelines from accidental pulling.
- Usage Methods:
1. Installation: Select “with regulation” or “without regulation” based on needs, align M34×1.5 threads with pipelines, and tighten moderately with a wrench (avoid over-tightening aluminum threads).
2. Operation (regulated version): Rotate the adjustment ring to calibrate vapor flow to the target value (verify via system testing). The non-regulated version works automatically without manual adjustment during normal operation.
3. Maintenance: Inspect quarterly — test breakaway/sealing performance with simulated force; for the regulated version, check if flow remains stable. Replace seals or the valve if breakage/sealing/flow control is abnormal.
